If you ever had any nauseated feelings that your cubed d6 dice secretly (and overtly) hate you, this kickstarter is for you.
The Doublesix dice kickstarter project is finishing in 28 hours and has smashed through unprecedented stretch goals! It has raised $112k USD so far and the designs and renderings are getting better.
The basic idea is that cubes don’t roll well. So make them 12 sided instead! It’s still a d6 roll, but rolls better.
I pledged for it when it first came out and was supposed to get 6 ivory dice. This is what I will now be getting (6 ivory and 2 of each other design):
And that’s not all! Matt Fleming, the project manager, has also included BEAUTIFUL d4 and fudge dice!
As you can see, d4 works on the 12 sided die as well. The next stretch goal is marbled green die at 125k. LET’S SMASH IT!! [EDIT: The project is now closed]
