I’ve been interested in this since Numenera came out (I missed that one, sadly) – but a review my husband found was enlightening and awe-inspiring got us pumped up to support The Strange. Read the review here.
In a nutshell, The Strange is so incredible because instead of just one setting (fantasy, space, yada yada), it can incorporate many, because multiple worlds (recursions) exist and players can travel to and from different recursions to explore and defend. Your characters can change and develop with each recursion they travel to, and perhaps even gain the ability to create their own recursion!
